Hello,
I am Ms. Smith, the very proud College and Career Readiness Coach of Austin Road Middle School.
My journey is a true testament to rising through passion and purpose. From my beginning as a dedicated paraprofessional, I soared both figuratively and literally-into my current role as the proud College and Career Readiness Coach of Austin Road Middle School. It is my pleasure to play a pivotal role in shaping our students' future by helping to explore their passions, discover their strengths, and map out a pathway to lifelong success.
With a rich and extensive background in aviation, I served as a Flight Attendant and Uniform Compliance Ambassador, where I developed a sharp eye for excellence and a gift for elevating experiences.
My extended education in Business Management afforded me the opportunity to contribute plans to one of Delta Air Lines’ most ambitious projects- $50 million Style Center renovation- and consistently demonstrated a keen ability in client recruitment and retention.
My work in education reflects the same high standards: dedication, vision, and results. My leadership as a College and Career Readiness Coach has and will continue to empower countless students to dream bigger and prepare smarter, bridging academic readiness with real-world awareness.
I am proof that from the classroom to coaching stardom, when passion meets purpose, anything is possible.
Books and Breakfast- Offered daily for students 8-8:45 a.m. Students attending these sessions are allowed time to complete missing assignments, which is more extensive than Lunch and Learn sessions.
Lunch and Learn - Offered on select days, chosen based on content. Students are allowed to complete unit test and minimal missing work.
Tutoring will be authorized with parents and Tutors from Fairview Library.
Office hours: 8:30- 3:30
Virtual parent meeting requests must be emailed to me 72 hours before the date of the meeting.
